Jhelum madrassah teacher tortures youth for keeping ‘bad company’

A madrassah teacher subjected a youth to severe torture on the accusation of keeping ‘bad company’ in Jhelum, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to police, the boy sustained injuries on his back as the madrassah teacher tortured him with an iron pipe.

He had asked his boys to bring the youth to madrassah.

“Ashfaq accused me of keeping bad company,” Asad Ali, the affected boy, told the police.

“The accused wrote a note. He forced the youth to put his signature on the note and tortured him on refusal,” police said.

A case was registered against him, and legal action against the accused was initiated.

In Tangwani, the video of a young boy, who had been kidnapped a month ago from Raja Laro, went viral on social media.

The video of the boy, identified as Maqbool Mirani, was made viral on social media by the dacoits.

“The dacoits are torturing me. Get me released [from the dacoits],” the young boy said in the video.

“I am the only son of my father. Get me released from the dacoits by paying them ransom,” he appealed to his family members.

“The dacoits are subjecting me to severe torture. SSP Amjad Shaikh! Get me released for the sake of God,” he appealed to the police officer.

The young boy worked at a shop, and he had been kidnapped by the dacoits a month ago.

The family said that the dacoits had been demanding a huge ransom for the recovery of the boy.
