PM to monitor steps to provide relief to masses in budget

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to monitor himself the steps for providing relief to masses in the upcoming budget, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
According to sources, the prime minister will take briefing on the suggestions to be put forward by the relevant ministries and divisions.
The premier has directed to prepare proposals regarding provision of relief in the upcoming budget.
Sources said PM Shehbaz wanted to make the workable suggestions aimed at providing relief to masses as part of the budget proposals.
The premier will get briefing on proposals related to pension, current expenditures, subsidies, development budget, agriculture, and Information Technology. He will also seek proposals on how to increase country’s exports.
The prime minister has set up a committee responsible to provide relief in the forthcoming budget under the head of Defence Minister Khawaja Asif.
