Pakistan Muslim League (N) National Assembly member Hanif Abbasi has strongly criticized recent statements by PTI founder Imran Khan and the press conferences held by his spokespersons, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Wednesday.

Abbasi described these actions as part of an "anti-national agenda," accusing Khan and his allies of undermining national interests for political gain.

Abbasi claimed that the daily dissemination of false stories about the establishment was an attempt to secure an NRO (National Reconciliation Ordinance) for Imran Khan. He accused the PTI leadership of jeopardizing national interests to further their political objectives.

In a scathing critique, Abbasi pointed out that while Khan enjoys various facilities in jail, his spokespeople portray him as a victim.

"The leader is riding a bicycle in jail, eating desi chickens, while his interpreters come out and play the victim," he remarked.

Abbasi questioned why Khan, who previously set high standards for others, is now allegedly evading accountability for various accusations, including the theft of a watch, embezzlement of £190 million, a robbery of Rs460 billion, and issues related to cipher and financial calculations.

"If you incite violence on May 9, then expect a lawsuit. If you sell a watch with the Kaaba's image, then expect a lawsuit," Abbasi warned, referring to recent controversies involving Khan.

He also criticized Khan's followers for attacking judicial complexes and national installations, and for their hostile actions towards the establishment and the judiciary.

Abbasi highlighted the irony of Khan's supporters, who once disparaged the judiciary, now positioning themselves as its defenders.

"From what mouth did those who hang dirty clothes on the Supreme Court and make false references against conscientious judges become the self-appointed spokespersons of the judiciary?" he questioned.
