Only Nawaz is PML-N candidate for premiership, says Dar

Former finance leader Ishaq Dar has said ex-PM Nawaz Sharif is the only prime ministerial candidate of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
“Nawaz will become the prime minister for the fourth time,” Dar said while talking to 24NewsHD TV channel.
“All the cases against Nawaz were bogus. The Almighty blessed him with success,” he said.
The former finance minister stressed that ex-PM Imran Khan could not legally remain as party chairman.
“Imran Khan did not nominate Barrister Gauhar as party chairman by choice, it was his legal and constitutional obligation. Imran Khan can't contest the election even if he wants to.”
The PML-N leader said; “We have received thousands of requests for PML-N tickets and they are being processed.
After the approval of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif, I formed the Central Parliamentary Board. District and divisional committees have also been given responsibility for conducting interviews and formulating their recommendations.
The meetings of the PML-N's Central Parliamentary Board will begin in early December to accord final approval of the candidates.
The Islamabad High Court acquitted former three-time prime minister Nawaz Sharif in the Avenfield reference. The verdict was pronounced by a two-judge bench comprising IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb.
According to the report, the court acquitted Nawaz Sharif in Avenfield reference after withdrawing the appeal of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against the acquittal of Nawaz Sharif in the flagship reference.
