Medical & dental Colleges 2024-25 admissions hit snag

Amid poor management, Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has failed to start admissions in medical and dental colleges in 2024-25, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
PMDC allowed MDCAT exam across the country. The process of admissions has stopped due to re-opening of MD CAT test in Sindh and Islamabad.
The MD CAT exam will be held again in Sindh on December 8 and in Islamabad on December 14.
After the MD CAT exam, admissions will start in all medical and dental colleges across the country and admissions in medical and dental colleges will not be possible till December 31 this year. PMDC also denied permission to UHS to start admissions in government medical colleges of Punjab.
MD CAT has separate tests mechanism in each province therefore changing the admission policy under it is a serious problem.
