Shahid Nadeem elected as PUJ president during Election 2025

Senior Journalist Mian Shahid Nadeem has been elected as president of Punjab Union of Journalists during Annual Elections 2025.
Qazi Tariq has been elected as Secretary General of the PUJ. Aamir Sohail, Farooq Johari, Hasan Hafeez have been made Vice Presidents and Adnan Lodhi elected as Treasurer. Fareed Siddique, Imran Raj and Adnan Bhatti were elected as Joint Secretary PUJ. On governing body seats Rana Mazhar, Usman Ali, Afzal Chaudhry, Ali Rabbani, Rana Ashfaq, Salman Awan, Mian Amir, Abdul Rehman, Rashid Wattu, Waseem Chaudhry and Shaukat Ali obtained victories. Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari and Governor Sardar Saleem Haider have congratulated the newly elected members of PUJ and hoped that new body will work for the welfare of the journalists.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikander Hayat and Deputy Speaker Malik Zaheer Iqbal Channer have also congratulated the newly-elected body of PUJ. They were of the view that without the presence of journalists, the provincial assembly is not complete. They urged mediamen to guide the government with positive criticism.
