Bakhtawar Bhutto strongly criticized Federal Minister Asad Umar for taking credit for vaccination in a tweet on Friday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari in her message on Twitter has said on Asad Umar's statement that he is the same one who used to compare the epidemic with traffic accidents.
Bakhtawar Bhutto said Asad Umar wanted the government to be given credit for purchasing vaccines while providing vaccines to the nation is their responsibility.
She said the provinces were not allowed to purchase the anti-corona vaccines legally. Addressing Asad, she said he will find compliments in the farewell speech just like the collages.
Earlier, Asad Umar has tweeted, “To make this massive vaccination drive possible, the Federal Government has procured vaccines worth nearly Rs250 Billion. 100% of vaccine procurement done by the federal government, which has provided free vaccines to all citizens regardless of which province they live in.”
The same man that equated a pandemic to traffic accidents wants us to credit the gov for procurement of vaccines (their job by law provinces cannot procure hence the magic 100% fig). You will find praise like you found your colleagues during your resignation speech #nonexistent https://t.co/1mzVIH4v4u
