FIA so far arrested 144 suspects involved in Libya boat accident

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has so far arrested 144 suspects involved in the Libyan boat accident during continued crackdown, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to details, 16 declared persons are also among the arrested suspects.
The most wanted human smugglers of the Red Book are also among the arrested suspects.
So far, the FIA registered a total of 197 cases in the Libyan boat accident.
The passports of 55 suspects involved in the boat accident have been blacklisted.
A cordon has also been tightened against international agents involved in human smuggling.
With the help of Interpol, arrests of human smugglers residing abroad are being carried out.
Red notices have been issued for the arrest of 20 agents involved in human smuggling from abroad.
Director General FIA Ahmad Ishaq Jahangir said that all resources should be utilized to arrest the agents involved in the boat accident.
DG FIA further said that the identity cards and bank accounts of the agents involved in the boat accident should be blocked immediately.
The process of blacklisting the passports of facilitators involved in boat accidents is underway, DG FIA said.
He said officers posted at all airports in the country should keep a close watch to arrest the agents.
