Ali Zain, a 17-year-old boy, who had shot dead his mother, two sisters and a brother at Kahna, Lahore around a fortnight ago only because they would ask him not to play a violent online game, PUBG, confessed to have committed the crime in the court of Judicial Magistrate on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

“I killed all four of them with the pistol of my mother,” he told the court.

Following his statement, Kahna police obtained his four-day remand from the court.

Zain told the judicial magistrate that on the night between January 18 and January 19, 2022, he took out a 30-bore pistol from the cupboard of his mother Dr. Naheed Mubarak. “Before that, I was playing PUBG. I don’t know what crossed through my mind that first I fired at my mother, then at my two sisters, Mahnoor and Jannat Fatima and then at my brother Taimur Sultan, all of whom died instantly. Then I put the pistol back in the cupboard, went downstairs and slept,” he explained.

Three days ago, on January 28, 2022, 24News had reported that the boy, who had shot dead four members of his own family at Kahna, Lahore around 10 days ago, had made some bone-chilling revelations to the police.

SSP Imran Kishwar told the media that Zain had disclosed that before committing the crime, he attached a silencer to his pistol, then placed a cushion on his mother’s face so that her screams could not be heard, then shot dead his two sisters and in the end his brother.   “And then after finishing his task, Zain went downstairs and slept,” the SSP explained.

He further said that the PUBG-crazy boy was also familiar with some deadly weapons as well as with their types.
