Moot on environmental protection campaigns

A meeting of the Coordination Committee on Environmental Protection was held with  Parliamentary Secretary for Environmental Protection in the chair, a press release said.

The meeting mulled over awareness campaigns about environmental protection.

The Deputy Director of Environmental Protection, Lahore, attended the meeting and provided details about the department’s ongoing initiatives.

Kanwal Liaqat emphasized the importance of raising awareness about environmental protection among students, the business community, religious leaders, and women. She urged members to actively promote the Punjab Chief Minister’s vision of a pollution-free province through awareness campaigns.

The meeting was attended by Malik Liaqat Advocate, Mian Adil Jahangir, Farzana Munir, Uzma Amir Butt, Wajahat Batool, Rana Umar Hayat, Rana Anas, Ali Ijaz, Mian Nadeem, Ghulam Hussain Gondal, and other committee members.
