Punjab CM’s aerial visit to Gujranwala motorway to speedup link road project

Punjab CM Mohsin Naqvi Sunday visited Gujranwala Motorway Link Road Project to inspect the construction works and was directed to speed up the work on the project, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In the briefing, the managing authorities of the project told Mohsin Naqvi that this 15.2-kilometre long two-way road will provide hurdle-free and the best access for the motorway. it was also stated that the Motorway link road has cost Rs11 billion and additional resources are being used to complete the project within the stipulated period of 90 days.

Mohsin Naqvi said that the project will be completed in due time regardless of the torrential rain showers and Gujranwala will soon be linked with the Motorway. He also announced the launch of an inter-hospital shuttle service between both the hospitals of the city.

Mohsin Naqvi, regarding the Bahawalpur Islamia University case, said that initial investigation has been completed and the criminals will be brought to book. He said that a judicial inquiry will also be launched if needed.
