IHC orders Secretary Defence to produce Shahbaz Gill’s brother before court within 2-day

Islamabad High Court has ordered the Secretary of Defence to produce the brother of Dr Shahbaz Gill before the court within two days, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Islamabad High Court Justice Saman Riffat Imtiaz issued the order while hearing the case. During the hearing, the Assistant Attorney General told the court that owing to summer vacations, the Secretary of Defence could not submit a reply in the court.
On this, Justice Saman Riffat remarked that the behaviour of the Secretary of Defense, in a case where the life of a missing citizen is in danger, is irresponsible.
IHC Justice ordered that the missing person should be produced before the Islamabad High Court till August 2, 2024. Islamabad High Court Justice said that the next hearing of the case should be scheduled before the available bench.
After the hearing of the case, a written order of today's hearing was issued by the court.
