Three dacoits killed in police encounter at Khairpur Tamiawali

Three ‘dacoits’ were killed in an exchange of fire with the Elite Force personnel at Khairpur Tamiawali, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

As per the Elite Force’s version, three dacoits sitting on a motorcycle were on their way back after looting a cellphone and Rs15,000 in cash from a shop.

Soon after learning about the incident, the Elite Force personnel chased the dacoits, who opened fire at the former. The personnel retaliated, resulting in the deaths of three dacoits, the Force said.

The police said that the dead had not been identified as yet.
