Ambassador of Switzerland to Pakistan and to Afghanistan Bénédict de Cerjat spent his Sunday afternoon in Lahore and visited the beautiful Badshahi Mosque and Lahore Fort and was impressed by its architecture, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Swiss top envoy to Pakistan also visited the Wagah border.
He tweeted, “Having a look at the Indo-Pak détente between Pakistan and India. Pleased to present Major Osama from Pakistan Rangers with our recent book ‘From Landi Kotal to Wagah’.”

The Ambassador said that the historical places of Lahore are exemplary and he felt very good visiting these sites.
“I would like these historical sites of Lahore to be given maximum priority in the world as this city is known for its unique style,” he further said.
