Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz supremo Nawaz Sharif has convened an important meeting of the party leaders at Jatti Umra, Raiwind onTuesday (tomorrow) to brainstorm a plan of action for upcoming elections, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
According to sources, this gathering is of particular significance as Nawaz Sharif presided over a high-level meeting after an approximate four-year absence from such engagements.
The meeting brought together key party figures, including the PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif, chief organizer Maryam Nawaz, Hamza Shehbaz, and other prominent leaders.
The sources said the meeting primarily will focus on the current political landscape in the country, deliberations on the upcoming general elections, and other critical issues of national interest.
Nawaz Sharif's political activities, which have been eagerly awaited by many, would be among the key topics of discussion during the meeting.
The participants would conduct an in-depth consultation on the party's election manifesto and the initiation of the party's election campaign.
The sources further said that all the provincial presidents will present the names of potential election candidates of their respective provinces.
. Additionally, the meeting featured discussions regarding the preliminary schedule for Nawaz Sharif's countrywide visits.
The high-level gathering reflects the PML-N's readiness to engage in the dynamic and evolving political landscape, the sources added.
