Adiala Jail has introduced a new Wi-Fi-enabled monitoring system for visitors, equipped with biometric verification and barcode scanning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Thursday.

The advanced system, which was installed across the prison's main gates and wall perimeters, restricts entry to those with verified national identity cards, effectively preventing unauthorized access.

The integrated system, connected to NADRA and the Home Department, scans visitors' ID cards to display detailed records and verify identities before allowing entry.

Under the new protocols, entry is denied if ID verification is incomplete. Enhanced security measures apply to all visitors, including those meeting with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, ensuring a robust monitoring process at the facility.
