A court in Rawalpindi on Wednesday indicted PML-N MNA Daniyal Chaudhry, Usama Chaudhry, Changez Khan and Muhammad Zahoor in the former PTI’s parliamentary secretary Punjab Chaudhry Adnan murder case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The court later adjourned the case’s hearing until September 17 due to the absence of the suspects’ lawyers.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Raja Faisal Rasheed heard the petition.
It is reminded here that Chaudhry Adnan had been killed in front of the Police Lines on February 12.
“He was shot in the face, neck, and other parts of his body.
Later, the accused fled from the scene on a motorcycle that was parked across the road.
The former PTI legislator was being shifted to the Benazir Bhutto General Hospital in a serious condition when he succumbed to his injuries,” read the contents of the FIR.
Police said the complainant nominated five suspects in the FIR, alleging political grudges and business disputes.
