The security arrangements on the premises of the Sindh High Court (SHC) were called into question after a mentally retarded person broke the security layer and went deep into the court premises, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
The mentally retarded person, after entering the courtroom of Justice Aftab Ahmed, started hurling shouts, disturbing the court proceedings.
The court staff and police took the person into custody and took him out of the court premises. The incident, however, put a question mark on the security arrangements on the premises of the high court.
On the other hand, a youth was shot at and injured in firing by dacoits during a robbery in Hyderabad.
The injured was identified as Faheem. The incident took place in Hatri area of Hyderabad. The dacoits had shot at and injured Faheem over resistance.
