Profit rate on national savings schemes increased

The return rates on national savings schemes have been increased, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

As per the official sources, the rate of return on Defence Savings Certificate has been increased from 12.26 to 14.87 per cent.

On Pensioners, Welfare and Martyrs’ Families Certificate, it has been increased from 13.9 to 16.5 per cent.

On Regular Income Certificate, it has been increased from 12.60 to 12.84 per cent.

On Special Savings Certificate, it has been increased from 13.1 to 17.1 per cent.

On savings accounts, it has been increased from 14.5 to 18.5 per cent.

And on short-term savings certificates, it has been increased from Rs15.96 to 19.82 per cent.
