Heavy monsoon rains expected in various parts of country during next three days

The Met office has announced that heavy monsoon rains are expected in various districts of Punjab, Kashmir, Norther areas, parts of Balochistan and Sindh from Saturday which may continue by August 12, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The heavy rain accompanied by wind and thunderstorm was expected during next 24 to 48 hours in Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Murree, Galiyat, Jhelum, Multan, and Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Sahiwal and Gujrat.
While the northwestern areas especially Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, and Mansehra will face normal to heavy rain at various places. Similarly, rain is expected in Attock, Chakwal, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, and other cities, as well as in Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Multan, and nearby areas during the night.
In Balochistan, the weather will be hot and humid in most districts, with heavy rain expected in Qalat, Khuzdar, Zhob, Musakhel, and Qila Saifullah. Sindh will see partly cloudy conditions with a chance of light rain in Mithi, Tharparkar, Umarkot, Sanghar, Khairpur, Kashmore, Sukkur and Ghotki districts. While coastal areas of Sindh may experience cloudy skies and light rain at isolated locations.
Tips to stay healthy during in rainy season
The weather department warns of potential heavy rain in Loralai, Bolan, Naseerabad, Jafarabad, Dera Bugti, and Barkhan, urging residents to stay updated on weather alerts and take necessary precautions. The PDMA has alerted to relevant administrations to get ready for the anticipated conditions. Residents in these areas should brace for possible disruptions and remain vigilant.
The NDMA’s National Emergencies Operation Center anticipated that rain, wind, and thundershowers were expected in Sindh during the next 72 hours.
Under the influence of this system, Badin, Chhor, Dadu, Hyderabad, Jacobabad, Jamshoro, Karachi, Khairpur, Larkana, Mithi, Mitayari, Mirpur Khas, Nausheroferoze, Padidan, Sajawal, Sanghar, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkur, Tando Allayar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tharparkar, Thatta, Umarkot will likely receive rainfall with thundershowers in some places until August 12th, a news release said.
The NDMA has issued instructions to all relevant departments to take necessary precautions to mitigate the possible effects of flooding and extreme weather.
