Ramazan Sugar Mills case adjourned until Feb 24

An accountability court in Lahore on Tuesday conducted the hearing in Ramazan Sugar Mills case against PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz in Ramzan and adjourned it until February 24, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Amjad Pervaiz advocate representing Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz completed his cross-examination on witness Ghulam Mustafa and the court has summoned another witness in the next hearing. Accountability Judge Amjad Nazir was presiding.
A number of PML-N leaders and workers was present outside the accountability court to show solidarity with their leaders. Both the father and son were brought to the court amid strict security measures.
During the previous hearing, the accountability court had ordered the Punjab government to include PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif’s personal doctors in the medical board set up for his medical check-up.
The court ordered the Punjab Health Secretary to immediately provide medical reports to Shehbaz Sharif. The three-page court verdict was issued by Accountability Court’s Admin Judge Jawad Ul Hassan.
The judge also ordered the inclusion of Shehbaz’s personal doctors – Prof Arif Khan, Prof Aqeel Bari and Prof Tahir Nasar – in the medical board.
