Interior Minister and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Naqvi visited Qaddafi Stadium, Lahore late Tuesday night and inspected the upgradation work presently underway there, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Naqvi expressed his displeasure when he saw that nobody was working in the night shift, and directed that work should be done round the clock so that the project could be completed on time. “There is a need to utilize all resources so that the stadium should be ready ahead of the Champions Trophy,” he emphasized.

He also directed that the water accumulated underneath the main building due to the rupture of a pipe should immediately be drained out.  

The Director International Cricket and General Manager Infrastructure were also present on the occasion.
