Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi Monday inaugurated the U-turn project on Nazria-i-Pakistan Road, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to the media, he said the project was completed within an impressive 15-day period. The initiative aims to alleviate traffic congestion and enhance safety for commuters.

CM Mohsin Naqvi commended the LDA's swift and efficient completion of the project, which will significantly ease traffic flow and enhance connectivity.

He emphasized that the newly constructed U-turns would contribute to making the city's important points signal-free, particularly the Shaukat Khanum Hospital Chowk.

Addressing the citizens' needs, the project's signal-free corridor is expected to facilitate the daily movement of approximately 45000 vehicles. The benefits will extend to residents of Wapda Town, Canal Bank Road, Johar Town, and nearby areas, providing them with a smoother commuting experience.

Commissioner Lahore and DGLDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Chief Engineer Israr Saeed, and their team received praise for their dedication and timely execution of the project. The project's completion within the specified timeframe allowed for a continuous traffic flow during the development works.

During the media talk, CM Naqvi assured that a comprehensive investigation is ongoing at Bahawalpur Islamia University in light of recent incidents.

The government is committed to holding accountable those involved in any wrongdoing and will form an anti-harassment cell to conduct further investigations across Punjab.

Highlighting the positive developments in Lahore, CM Naqvi emphasized that there has been a clear reduction in the crime rate, promising further improvement in the city's situation.

He expressed his determination to enhance the police station culture and emphasized the government's neutral approach to governance, free from any political biases.

Present on the occasion were Provincial Minister Mansoor Qadir, Aamir Mir, CCPO, Deputy Commissioner, CTO, and other esteemed officers.
