Smog covers Lahore, cases of flu, throat infection increased

Due to heavy smog in Lahore city, it became impossible to breathe in the open air, and infections of the throat, breathing, and flu heavily increased in the hospitals.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the doctors have instructed the citizens of Lahore to take precautionary measures to save themselves from smog-related diseases.
Services Hospital Lahore Registrar Medicine Department Dr Adeel Riaz Qureshi said that due to smog, there has been an increase in the number of patients with ear, nose, and throat infections in government hospitals.
Dr Adeel Said smog is very dangerous for everyone, even children are affected by it badly.
He advised the patients with asthma or who have breathing problems to take more precautionary measures to save themselves from smog.
The doctor further advised that people must use a face mask whenever they go in open areas especially because smog-related infections could only be avoided by following precautionary measures.
