A mother killed her two minor children allegedly by slitting their throats with a knife in the Garibabad area of Nawabshah, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to police, the mother killed her children due to poverty.
Police said 5-year-old Muhammad Raza and 6-year-old Muhammad Hamza died on the spot.
The bodies have been shifted to People's Medical Hospital, police said.
The mother has been taken into custody along with the murder weapon, the police added.
