Expressing shock and grief over the suicide blast inside a mosque in Peshawar which has claimed the lives of 101 people so far, Supreme Court Judge Justice Qazi Faez Isa on Wednesday asked for how long will the state of Pakistan fear the terrorists?, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Questioning the logic behind initiating talks with the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, Justice Isa asked as to where was the writ of the state?

The SC judge regretted that successive governments had been making concessions to the militants, and there were some who favoured talks with them. “But this further emboldens the TTP and other militant outfits which then carry out attacks with impunity,” he said, wondering as to which type of society this was.

Justice Isa was of the view that one does not become a good Muslim by sporting long beards. “A judge had compiled a report on terrorism, but that was thrown into the dustbin,” he regretted.
