The founder chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi have applied for a certified copy of the judgment in the cipher case and the Toshakhana case, in which they were sentenced to imprisonment and fines by the Accountability Court and the Special Court of Official Secrets Act.

They intend to file an appeal against the verdict in the Islamabad High Court after receiving the copy.

Their lawyer, Khalid Yusuf Chaudhry, submitted the application on their behalf.

PTI founder chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were handed down 14-year rigorous imprisonment each in Toshakhana case on Wednesday, a day after a special court sentenced the former cricket captain to 10-year jail in cipher case.
