PIA’s Karachi to Skardu flight stopped from landing due to inclement weather

The flight of the Pakistan International Airline (PIA) from Karachi to Skardu could not land at Skardu International Airport due to bad weather, on which the plane was called back, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to media reports, PIA's flight PK455 left Karachi for Skardu today and reached its destination but was not allowed to land due to bad weather and was recalled. The flight later diverted to Islamabad.
Another PIA flight bound to leave Islamabad Airport for London on Friday morning failed to take off even after over six hours.
A number of flights were also cancelled as the flights operation of Karachi International Airport was altered on Sunday, 26th September 2021.
