Serene Air’s Lahore bound flight makes emergency landing in Karachi after developing a fault in its engine, reported 24NewsHDTV channel.
More than 180 passengers were on board the plane, the flight had completed its 25-minute journey from Karachi to Lahore and when plane was passing through Nawabshah it suddenly developed a technical problem in its second engine.
The captain of the Siren Air plane urgently requested permission for an emergency landing back at the Karachi airport. After getting permission from authorities, captain brought the flight back to Karachi airport and landed safely. According to report, engine number 2 of the flight ER 522 was damaged.
