Two individuals lost their lives due to electrocution on Ibn-e-Sina Road while attempting to steal electric wires, authorities confirmed.
The incident, believed to be an attempt to steal electricity by cutting underground wires, resulted in a short circuit, leading to a power outage in G-9 and surrounding areas.
Emergency services quickly responded, and the victims were shifted to a hospital, but they did not survive.
Police have launched an investigation into the matter. Further details are expected as authorities continue their inquiry.
