Shahid Kapoor to begin filming Farzi 2 in December 2025

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor made his OTT debut with the web series Farzi 2.
As soon as the news surfaced, the fans were super excited for the movie's second season.
Well, there is a report coming that the makers will begin shooting for the show in December this year.
Vijay Sethupati and Raashii Khanna were also seen in the lead roles.
Mid-Day has quoted a source saying, “Raj and DK are currently occupied with Rakht Brahmand. Once they wrap the show, they’ll dive into pre-production for Farzi 2. The show is expected to drop on OTT in the second half of 2026. Before that, Shahid will reportedly complete filming Dinesh Vijan’s Cocktail 2 with Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon, the sequel to Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty’s Cocktail (2012)."
In March, Raashii Khanna told News18 Showsha, “A sequel will definitely happen. Raj-DK is still in the writing stage. That’s what I was told by them. But they’re the right people to answer this question. Shahid is also as clueless as me. We’ve no idea what’s happening. We’re just waiting for a call from them that they’re ready with the script and that we can start shooting. I really can’t wait to start Farzi 2. Hopefully, we will begin shooting for it sometime this year. Let’s see what happens."
