From the last few days, large-scale protests and conferences have been held across the country in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians, as the situation for the innocent people of Palestine has turned into a nightmare. Gaza has become a pile of rubble, with thousands of Palestinians martyred or injured. Backed fully by the United States, Israel continues to rain down fire upon them. Donald Trump, through Israeli leader Netanyahu, is implementing a real estate project, and now it has become clear that preparations for the expulsion of Palestinians have begun.

Such is the extent of Palestinian suffering — they are being bombarded to be driven out of their own land. These Palestinians are not only Muslims but also Christians, who are lifting the bodies of their loved ones, bearing the grief of their children, and standing firm to achieve martyrdom. The recent videos of Israeli bombings are heart-wrenching, showing innocent children buried under the debris of fallen buildings, being pulled out either alive or as lifeless bodies. These videos shake even the strongest of hearts.

However, the Muslim rulers have failed to move beyond mere condemnation. Israel has defied the decisions and orders of institutions such as the UN Security Council, the United Nations, and the International Court of Justice, and even disregards the protests and demands of its own citizens and people across the world. In doing so, it is clearing the path for itself through fire and bloodshed in Palestine, as part of its Greater Israel project. Following Israel’s attacks on Gaza and its targeting of thousands of Palestinians including children, women, and the elderly, a campaign was launched to boycott Israeli and Jewish products. This campaign also gained momentum in Pakistan, where people were informed about Israeli-linked products. As a result, a significant portion of the public boycotted Israeli products, brands, franchises, food chains, etc. However, over time, participation in this protest gradually declined. This reality also emerged in some public surveys. The same crowds returned to Israeli food chains as before.

Now, while Israel’s oppression continues unabated and the rulers of Muslim countries remain unwilling to act, ordinary Muslims must contribute to this form of economic jihad by boycotting Israeli and Jewish products, items, food chains, and soft drinks. If we do not boycott these goods and continue to purchase them, it essentially means we are playing a part in financially strengthening the very Israel that refuses to stop shedding the blood of oppressed Palestinians.

Some time ago, when details about Israeli products were brought to light, it became clear that many of the items used in our homes are linked to Israel. That means if we don’t refrain from buying these products, we are practically helping empower a tyrannical Israel and are indirectly supporting its atrocities against oppressed Palestinians.

To stop this injustice, we must take part in this jihad against Israel. If the rulers of Muslim countries are not fulfilling their responsibilities, it does not mean we should also fail to do what lies within our power—especially when our actions can still have an impact. Everyone is supposed to speak out against this oppression.

In this endeavor, America and President Donald Trump are backing Israel to the fullest, while Netanyahu is executing the plan—determined to turn the Gaza Strip into a resort area and to eliminate Hamas and other resistance groups. The US has now deployed a second aircraft carrier to the Gulf and is attacking the Houthis as well. After Iran, Trump has not kept his intentions hidden regarding Turkey either.

The situation related to peace is worst but US President Donald Trump made a sudden announcement on last Wednesday to distract the intentions. According to the announcement, retaliatory tariffs on most countries that have not imposed counter-tariffs on the US, including Pakistan, have been suspended for 90 days. However, retaliatory tariffs on China have been increased to 125%.

President Trump stated that he is ready to talk and make deals with all countries, including China, but Beijing does not seem prepared for negotiations at this point. According to US Treasury Secretary Scott Besant, this grace period applies only to retaliatory tariffs, while the 10% basic tariff remains in effect and applies to all countries.

It is worth noting that the tariff plans and statements announced by President Trump last week had a significant impact on global stock markets on Monday, April 8, 2025, leading to a major downturn. That day was dubbed “Black Monday” in reference to the plummeting stock markets and growing fears of a global recession.

In the statement that triggered this market turmoil, the US president responded to Asian countries’ demand for lower tariffs by setting strict conditions for eliminating heavy tariffs. He also warned that if Beijing did not withdraw its decision to impose a 34% tariff on Washington by April 8, the US would impose an additional 50% tax on China starting April 9, bringing the total tariff to 104%.

However, following the announcement on April 9 of raising retaliatory tariffs on China to 125%, tensions have risen significantly, and resolving the situation is now in the interest of the entire world. After President Trump’s explosive announcement on April 9, the US stock market saw a 7% surge. Prices of oil, gas, and gold also increased. The value of the Chinese currency, the yuan, fell against the dollar to 7.3498 per dollar.

Our media is broadcasting what super powers wanted to be telecasted on media. It’s time to understand what is need of time otherwise we will not be the part of history and Posterity will judge us harshly, for the legacy we leave behind is marred by negligence, greed, and a disregard for the future.
