Imran Khan arrested in six additional cases

The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been arrested in six additional cases, escalating his legal challenges, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Monday.
According to the report, after the completion of his physical remand in a case registered at New Town Police Station, the court ordered him to be sent to jail on judicial remand.
Among the new cases, four were registered on September 28 at various police stations, including Civil Lines, City Police Station, Nasirabad, and Taxila.
These cases involve charges such as interfering in official duties, vandalism, arson, violating Section 144, and terrorism-related offences.
The police investigation teams from the respective police stations have reportedly visited Adiala Jail to further their enquiries into these cases on Monday.
It is worth mentioning that in connection with the party's 24 November protest at D-Chowk in Islamabad, some fresh First Information Reports (FIRs) were also registered against the PTI leadership, including Imran Khan, in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
One of the First Information Reports (FIRs), lodged at Sadiqabad Police Station, accuses the PTI chief of hatching a criminal conspiracy that incited violent protests.
According to the FIR, the suspects, acting on the PTI founder's instructions, engaged in violent actions, injuring two police constables through physical assault and stone pelting.
The FIR further states that the protesters seized teargas shells and firearms from police personnel and caused significant property damage. "The suspects endangered public lives and spread fear through anti-state slogans," it alleges.
Prominent PTI leaders, including Ali Amin Gandapur, Arif Alvi, Hammad Azhar, Omar Ayub Khan, Asad Qaiser, and Sheheryar Riaz, along with Imran Khan's wife, Bushra Bibi, and his sister, Aleema Khan, have also been named in the FIR under 16 terrorism-related sections.
