Petroleum dealers in the country announced that they may suspend the petroleum supply from July 18 amid the increasing cost of business and soaring tariffs of electricity and demanded increase in dealers’ margin by six percent, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Petroleum dealers Chairman Abdul Sameh Khan said on Saturday that the dealers will go on strike from July 18 and will continue it till their demands are fulfilled.

The association leader claimed that the dealers will not open petrol pumps if the government would not fulfill their demands. “Right now we receive only 3.90 percent margin after-tax deduction,” Khan explained.

Khan said keeping in view the people’s woes on Eid-ul-Azha, the petroleum dealers have announced to stage a strike on July 18th.
