Pak-Kazakh trade ties to grow

Kazakh Ambassador to Pakistan Yerzhan Kistafin has said that the trade volume between Pakistan and Kazakhstan is increasing.
Pakistan is going to become a major commercial hub of the global market, he said while talking to 24NewsHD TV channel.
He added: “Pakistan is very important for Central Asia. Road connectivity between Central Asia and Pakistan is very important.”
“We know the geographical position of Pakistan. We want to build a trade route with Pakistan.”
He continued: “A delegation of traders from Kazakhstan is going to visit Lahore soon.
“We are going to operate a direct flight from Almaty to Lahore by June end and later direct flight operation between Karachi and Almaty will be launched. This will cement Pak-Kazakh trade ties.
“After the Ukraine war, Kazakhstan can sell its food items to the whole world through Pakistan. Pakistan has tourism potential too.
“Pakistan and Kazakhstan are also working together in the field of education. An agreement has been signed between Kazakhstan National University and Quaid-e-Azam University.
“In August, the delegates from leading universities of Pakistan will visit Kazakhstan. More than 100 Pakistani businessmen participated in the Made in Pakistan exhibition in Almaty last year.”
The top diplomat rejected anti-Pakistan propaganda and praised the hospitality and love he received here, saying: “Pakistan is my second home.”
