A 35-year-old man bit his tongue with scissors just to convince his wife, reported 24News HD TV Channel on Thursday.

According to the details, man Zaman Khan was depressed by his wife's separation who was staying at her parents' house in Faisalabad.

The husband approached her at his in-law's house in Faisalabad and tried to convince her to return home back.

But, the wife, depressed by the man's previous attitude, made a condition that she will return if he will keep his tongue in control in future.
To convince his wife, Zaman Khan took scissors and cut his tongue on the spot.

Due to bleeding, he was shifted to the hospital where he told the police in a written affidavit that he made this act by himself after a quarrel with his wife.
