DG Khan opens first-ever school for transgender community

Now the repressed transgender community can also fulfil its dream to achieve education as Dera Ghazi Khan has opened the first ever school for transgender community, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Now the transgender community which has been living on the margins of society could realize their dream to get education in a peaceful manner as Dera Ghazi Khan has become the first city which has opened a school for the community. 

CEO Education Muhammad Masood Nadeem, Principal Farzana Sajjad Bokhari and DO Education Farzana Yasmeen inaugurated the school for transgender people at Government Girls High School No 1, DGK. Besides them, Zulfiqar Ali Malghani, DO Secondary Riaz Malghani and heads of government schools also participated in the inaugural ceremony of the school. 

CEO Education Nadeem said that transgender people were part of our society and we should take them along.
