Amid showers in various areas, weather remained chilly and cloudy in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday. The Met office predicted sporadic rain during next 24-hour, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


Karachi was also witnessing a spell of cold and cloudy weather after parts of the metropolis received rain. The Met department warned heavy rain in Karachi as a result Water Board has cancelled the leaves of the staff and urged them to remain alert to meet untoward situation.


Meanwhile, the snowfall continued in Khyber district’s Tera valley creating hindrances in the routine work of the residents. More than 10 inches snowfall was recorded in the area.


Met officials predicted that cloudy weather with rain (snowfall over mountain) was expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Potohar region, Upper Punjab and Kashmir while heavy rainfall/snowfall was likely at isolated places in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Murree, Galiyat and upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa during the next 24 hours.
