Police registered a first information report (FIR) against a dead man for electricity theft in Khudian Khas area of district Kasur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

Sources said that a police team raided the house of a deceased person violating the ‘iddat’ period of his widow.

During their action, the cops used abusive language against the widow in mourning.

Sub-Inspector Asif Jutt even snatched a mobile phone and Rs16,500 from a student who was filming the ‘police efficiency’ at the widow’s house.

Later the student said that he was due to pay his fee but the policemen snatched the amount.

The police team also used inappropriate language against the residents of the area, who said that Sub-Inspector Asif Jutt was a drunk and called them with names.

The children of the deceased man said that they had already resolved their electricity bill issue but despite all this the police team raided their home and used foul language.
