In his open letter Imran Khan urges Army Chief to revisit policies: Barrister Gohar

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar has said that PTI Founder Imran Khan has written a letter to Army Chief General Asim Munir in his capacity of former prime minister and shared the ‘causes of growing gulf between public and military’, reported 24NewsHDTV channel. 

Talking to media in Islamabad, Barrister Gohar said in his open letter Imran Khan advised Army Chief to revisit his policies. PTI chief said Imran Khan in his letter told Army Chief that fraudulent general elections 2024 and 26th Constitutional Aamendments created distance between the army and the people. 

PTI founder Imran Khan said due to such steps made by the government, people of the country were offending with the army. He said masses thinks behind all policies of the government, there was any Army therefore they are pleased with the military command. Imran Khan made it clear that “PTI don’t want chaos, the army is ours.” Barrister Gohar said PTI founder was of the view that Army has given huge sacrifices for the country. He said the letter of Imran Khan will be shared with media today.  

Meanwhile, Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder, has claimed that the government has destroyed judicial system of the country by brining selective judges in apex court, adding that door of justice were being closed on PTI. She said new judges were being brought in IHC to prolong the jail term of Imran Khan. 

Talking to media outside Adiala Jail, Aleema said during the last three years conspiracies were being hatched to crush PTI. 

Talking about Imran Khan’s letter to Army Chief, Aleema said Imran Khan advised Army Chief to focus on rising incidents of terrorism instead of crushing PTI. She said,” Imran Khan advised Army to pay all attention on securing borders so that the countrymen can live in peace”. 

Aleema Khan said, “Imran Khan was of the view that war on terrorism cannot be won until and unless masses stood with the Army”. 

She said Imran Khan was of the view that “Our army is the backbone of the country, we need to make our army strong.” 

Aleem claimed, “The policies adopted by the Establishment to oppress the people has created rift among the hearts of the people against the Army”. Aleema said Imran Khan was of the view that “the people will have to stand with the Army so that it can bravely fight war against terrorism.”

Talking about new appointments in IHC, she claimed that PTI founder’s appeal against 190 million pound case judgment has been placed before IHC’s newly-brought judge from Lahore and now the government will prolong the appeal for the next two to three years. She said PECA Act was introduced the control freedom of expression.
