Omicron spreading fast as 10 new cases reported in Karachi

Ten new cases of Omicron variant have been reported in Karachi taking the positive cases tally to 54 in the provincial capital city, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to the Sindh Health Department, most of the Omicron cases have been reported in Karachi Central and Karachi West.

The fast-spreading new variant is taking the world by storm, already wreaking havoc in the USA and Europe where cases are surging in millions.

The WHO too has warned about the ‘tsunami of Covid cases’ in the wake of the new variant.
