Carrying weapons banned in Islamabad

The authorities have imposed a ban on carrying weapons in the federal capital, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Thursday.

The district administration revoked the permits, stating that the weapons listed on the licence will be allowed.

Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz Memon cancels all arms carry licences.

Anyone with a renewed license can travel with a weapon, 

No display of weapons will be allowed, the district administration said.
