Another flight carrying 287 students and others reaches Peshawar from Bishkek

A special flight from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government arrived at Peshawar Airport carrying 287 students and other Pakistani people from Bishkek, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Monday.
According to the channel, the students reached Peshawar by the provincial government's fifth and last special flight.
KP Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur welcomed the students at Peshawar Airport. Provincial cabinet members and members of national and provincial assemblies were also present on this occasion.
The students who returned home raised loud slogans favouring KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Zindabad and his ruling party the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
About 1500 people including students were brought back home through five special flights of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. These five special flights have cost more than 14 crore rupees.
Apart from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, these students also include students from Punjab, Sindh and Azad Kashmir. The provincial government also made special arrangements for transport to bring these students to their respective areas.
It is worth mentioning that on May 29, Kyrgyzstan's Ambassador in Pakistan Ulanbek Totuyaev assured that the situation in Bishkek is calm and under control, and Pakistanis should not hesitate in visiting his country.
The Kyrgyz envoy in a press briefing in Islamabad stated that the recent incident on May 18 in Bishkek should not deter people from visiting, as it was an isolated event and does not reflect the overall safety or the hospitable nature of the Kyrgyz people.
Ambassador Totuyaev explained that on the evening of May 13, a fight broke out between local and foreign citizens in eastern Bishkek. The police registered a criminal case under the article "hooliganism" and took all involved individuals to the police station. On May 17, a video of the fight and injured Kyrgyz citizens was posted on social media which led to a local crowd gathering in Bishkek on the night of May 18 against the foreigners involved in violence.
Edil Baisalov assured the senior Pakistani representative that foreign students in Kyrgyzstan are treated with friendliness and goodwill. He also promised that all responsible for the recent incident would be brought to justice, the Kyrgyz envoy concluded.
