Former Pakistani film and television actress Babra Sharif was spotted at filmmaker Altaf Hussain’s movie launch event where she talked about the revival of cinema.

Talking to Moeen Zubair about the decline of the film industry, Babra Sharif said, “We have never talked about Karachi, Peshawar, and Lahore, we worked for our industry. We should not talk about this divide. We are here because of Altaf Hussain who has taught us a lot. You always talk about revival, how can you revive the film industry without watching the movies.

"You should watch all his films that always gave social messages, he hasn’t ever made violent films. Altaf Hussain Saab taught me rhythm and dance, he’s striving for the revival of the film industry. It’s not revival, we all are making efforts, these are small steps towards revival, we never talked about the division of the industry.

"Don’t be part of this divide, just keep on making films, I hope Altaf Hussain will make a good film like he used to make before”
