CM Maryam Nawaz takes stern notice of kite-flying incidents

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif took strict notice of incidents of kite flying in various cities of Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to details, the Chief Minister sought reports from the Inspector General (IG) Punjab and the relevant district administrations.
The CM Maryam specifically addressed kite-flying incidents in Sheikhupura, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, and Faisalabad, emphasizing the need for immediate action to prevent such occurrences in the future.
Further, she questioned the continuity of kite flying despite bans.
She has appealed to citizens to prioritize human lives over recreational activities.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz stressed that the lives and property of the people should not be sacrificed for the sake of entertainment. She also extended her sympathies to the injured and prayed for their speedy recovery.
