Chinese companies increase prices of motorcycles

October 3, 2022 07:27 PM

Chinese companies on Monday increased the prices of 70 cc, 100 cc and 125 cc motorbikes by Rs2,000 after becoming the spare parts more expensive in the market.

According to the 24New HD TV channel, the Chinese companies issued a circular to the dealers on Monday that the new rates will be applicable from Wednesday, October 5, 2022.

Dealers said that a common man is already worried about paying utility bills and have no extra money to buy other things but the companies have increased the prices of motorcycles which is not justified.

McLeod Road Motorcycle Market President Javed Bhatti said that factually, the parts of Chinese bikes have not become expensive but cheap.

Javed Bhatti added that companies are deliberately looting, competition commission should take notice.
