15-foot-long python beaten to death in Azad Kashmir

Local residents in Azad Kashmir city of Mirpur have killed a 15-foot-long python when it tried to swallow a goat, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The python appeared in Mirpur city’s suburban area of Chittarparri and tried to eat up a goat. The locals spotted the python’s action and beat it to death with batons.

The news spread like a jungle fire in the city and a large number of people gathered at the scene to see the python. They also took selfies with the dead snake.

There have also been incidents in the past of pythons appearing in the area which were caught by the locals and handed over to wildlife officers.
