Pakistani airlines increase airfares exorbitantly after Eid

The state-owned Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and private airlines have increased the airfares exorbitantly after Eid-ul-Azha.

The PIA has increased the airfare for Karachi to Lahore flights from Rs9,311 to Rs25,000 and Airblue from Rs7,888 to Rs21,279. SereneAir has increased the airfare for Karachi to Islamabad flights to 30,531.

Before Eid, SereneAir’s airfare for Peshawar to Karachi flights was Rs9,000. Airblue airfare for Karachi to Lahore flights before Eid was Rs7,000, but now the airlines has increased it to over Rs18,000. The airfare for Karachi to Lahore and Karachi to Peshawar flights has been increased to over Rs15,000.
