A meeting of the Central Executive Committee of Pakistan Muslim League-Q was held in Islamabad, reported 24 News HD TV Channel on Thursday.

The meeting was attended by party members including general secretary Tariq Bashir Cheema, provincial presidents, and central officials.

The participants expressed full confidence in the leadership of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain through unanimous resolutions in the meeting.

Presidents of the PML-Q Sindh, Baluchistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan disowned the party’s meeting held in Lahore. They also condemned the declaration regarding the health of Ch Shujaat strongly.

The party leaders condemned the dismissal of Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain and Tariq Bashir Cheema in the meeting.

They unanimously opted for a resolution saying that PML-Q Punjab general secretary Kamil Ali Agha took an illegal step in this regard. It was decided in the meeting to issue a show-cause notice to Kamil Ali Agha, who presided over the meeting illegally, and to the participants in the meeting.
