Ali Zafar lawyer 'grills' Meesha Shafi’s witness Saba Hameed 

Singer Ali Zafar’s lawyer asked series of questions from Meesha Shafi witness Saba Hameed during case hearing at Lahore Sessions Court on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

Local court adjourned the hearing of Rs1 billion defamation suit against actress Meesha Shafi.

Singer Ali Zafar lawyer questioned Saba: “Is it true that you have stated that more women have been harassed by Ali Zafar, you have met these women?” “Yes, I have met many of these women, answered Saba Hameed.”

“When and how did you meet these few women? asked Ali Zafar’s lawyer.” No formal meeting was held with these women, replied Saba. 

“Whenever I met these women, they told me that they too had been harassed, answered Saba.” 

I ask you this question, specifically when and where you met these women? Asked lawyer Ali Zafar. “I met these women after this misfortune, but I don’t remember the exact time or location, replied Saba Hameed.”

Can you name other women who came to you and told you that they too had been harassed? asked Ali Zafar’s lawyer “I didn’t tell anyone to tell me, but they told me, but I can’t say his name in general, Saba Hameed replied”

Mesha Shafi’s witnesses who have gone to court so far, have you read their statement besides yourself? Lawyer Ali Zafar asked. Yes, I’ve been reading together but I still don’t quite memorize, replied Saba Hameed.
